An extremely rare branching palm from arid Southern Africa, rarely seen anywhere, notably featuring monstorous sized seeds(about the size of a pear). Plants seen in habitat are AWE inspiring, at a distance, the silhouette is spectacular. As the palm matures, trunks literally branch or fork, uniquely parting away from one another, unlike any other palm. These enjoy arid, desert like conditions, needing little water, and capable of handling full sun from the first leaf. Can reach heights of 20-30 feet, with beautiful silver-green leaves. Cold hardy and frost tolerant to 27 degrees farenheit.
